John, Thank you for the nice welcome note. . I'm getting ready for the surgery and as you know it is going to change my life for the better. How did your surgery go. How are you feeling? I pray everything is going well for you. Take care and don't forget to post pix as you go.

Hi John... Congrats to you on this Life Chaning decision you've made. I'll be thinking of you on your surgery day and i'm sure you will do fantastic. I had my surgery Jan 16th, 2008 and even tho I did have some complications and a rough year, I am now feeling great and thrilled with the weight loss. I do feel like a new person and have energy to do things i would have never considered before.

The surgery is no problem, but the first few weeks at home were pretty tough for me. Now, however, I'm down almost 45 lbs. in just over 2 months.
You'll have to have all new drag costumes made, though!
(BTW--are you in RI/Mass/Conn or in Wyoming? I'm a little confused, which is not that big a stretch for me!)
You will be so happy that you had the surgery! I feel great. I had my surgery July 24th, and I've lost 66 pounds now! I feel good and happier than I've been in years. The surgery wasnt' bad at all. I had no pain. Good luck!!!
Hi,John, I am pleased to hear from a man who has had gastric bypass surgery. Very few men talk about their surgery, or at least build up their courage to have it, My hat goes off to you as a sign of Welcome, and may you have many good days ahead.My advice to any one who has had it . Be sure to take a good vitiamn source, and get you a good nutritional doctor who belive in giving natural vitiamns as a source of good health. A health food store is your friend.
