Finally!

Well, finally I received a call from my surgeon who apologized for the mix-up with the earlier date, and gave me my new date of May 19th. I have a wedding to be in less than 3 weeks later!!! I don't think the matron of honor can back out of her best friends wedding so.... I'm gonna have to tough it out. If anyone out there who has had laproscopic RNY has any thoughts or insights as to how I might expect to be feeling less than 3 weeks out, please write and let me know! Thankfully my best friend is a simple woman who didn't want a lot of fanfare at her wedding so I don't have to worry about dancing or a long reception! Just a wedding and a quick photo shoot. One concern that I have does involve the undergarments that go under my dress...I am wearing one of those long type bras that go down past your waist.... Forgive me, I do not know the technical name for this ridiculous garment... But does anyone know if this will be ok with my less than 3 week old incisions???
Other than that..I am still not scared about the actual surgery. I imagine that as the 19th gets closer I will start to feel a little more nervous.
