- I'm a single mother of 3 little boys ages 11, 9, and 5. They are the greatest joy in my life and have been a huge incentive for me to get my weight problem under control. I want to enjoy all the time with them possible and at their young ages I wanted to have the energy and health to be able to play with them.....keep up with them, and just be an active healthy mother for them. I had my Gastric Bypass surgery January, 2008 and I did have some complications from the surgery which required me to undergo two additional surgeries, but I can finally say that I am doing well now and on the way to really feeling great. My weight in January on the day of the surgery was 305 lbs and today I weigh 145 lbs.

First Post OP ThanksGiving!
Hi everyone! I hope everyone that celebrated ThanksGiving here in the States had a wonderful Holiday.
This was my first Post OP ThanksGiving and I'm happy to say the dinner was great and even tho my portions were very small, unlike past years during the Holidays... I enjoyed the meal just as much. I was careful about what I ate but I did try a little of this and that. I baked Pumpkin Pies and used the Splenda Baking Blend rather then regular sugar and the pies were wonderful. My original membership quit working for me....
I had to make a new membership in order to even access this group. I'm still unsure what happened with the other, aside from my email address changing and when I would attempt to make a change of email addy under the "settings" it would not allow me to make the change. I'd get routed to a page that would ask me to enter a "Master Key" which I have no idea what that even is.
