I've lost about 43 pounds since my surgery which I'm so pleased with and I'm only 9 weeks out!!

Hi John... Congrats to you on this Life Chaning decision you've made. I'll be thinking of you on your surgery day and i'm sure you will do fantastic. I had my surgery Jan 16th, 2008 and even tho I did have some complications and a rough year, I am now feeling great and thrilled with the weight loss. I do feel like a new person and have energy to do things i would have never considered before.
I wish the very best for you... Please stay in touch and let us know how you are doing.

Best of luck to you, John! You will, no doubt, be uber-successful with the results of the procedure.
The surgery is no problem, but the first few weeks at home were pretty tough for me. Now, however, I'm down almost 45 lbs. in just over 2 months.
You'll have to have all new drag costumes made, though!
(BTW--are you in RI/Mass/Conn or in Wyoming? I'm a little confused, which is not that big a stretch for me!)

Hi everyone I am 37 yr old gay guy here in Rhode Island. I work full time as a EMT-Cardiac working 911 calls on an ambulance and I am also the Deputy Chief of the Department. I am youngest of 8 children and I have 32 Nieces and Nephews. I am very close to my family. I love going out and having fun but also like staying in and relaxing. I have been doing drag for almost a year now and have become well known in RI, Conn, Mass in that little time. I restrictly do it for entertainment purposes nothing else.

Operation "New Me"

January 13, 2009 I will be making one of the biggest steps in my life. I will ungo gastric bypass. I am excited and nervous about what the future holds. Time will only tell. Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers during this time of change and challenge. I will be coming home Friday everything goes as planned. I will be posting pics throughout my progress.
