- I had open roux en Y on 4/28/09 and have lost nearly 40 lbs. I am married with 2 cats, and need to lose over 100 more lbs. I have kept a journal of everything GB since I 1st considered surgery until now, and my brother helped me turn it into a blog where I now hope others can gain inspiration, information and support.
