I am nearly 8 weeks out and have lost almost 40 lbs. I still struggle with quite an appetite, and the ability to hold down more than I think I should if my pouch is really the size of an egg. I do screw up at times, but overall am blessed to have an easy going pouch that is so tolerant!

Wow! This isn't what I expected at all. My c-section for my twins seemed to be a breeze compared to this. I'm in constant pain, and sleeping on a 2 person love seat isn't cutting the comfy level. I seem to be okay with the liquid every 15 min., however, I find it hard to manage to work in the next level of the diet. hello, I was hoping someone could answer this. I am 4 weeks post op. I lost 24 lbs the first two weeks. I have lost nothing since. Has anyone experienced this?

This is my first post op update....Things have gone very well. I consider myself lucky as I haven't had much pain. In fact my only gripe right now is that I hate the taste of the protein shakes. -So much so, that I have had a tough time actually swallowing them. My next appointment is on Wednesday and I am told that I should be able to start to incorporate some soft foods like cottage cheese, mashed potatoes, and hummus....
